In addition to our Winebar and the shop, Barrel is also active as a wine wholesaler in and around Groningen. We advise and deliver wine to a few dozen restaurants, cafes and student associations, from small to large and from a few boxes to a few hundred bottles per week.
We have a very extensive selection of wines available, and work together with leading wine importers. We also do our own import on a modest scale. This allows us to offer exclusivity at attractive (wholesale) prices.
We help think about wine pairings, we can take care of your wine list (and if desired even design it and have it printed) and provide training for your staff. As a restaurant employee or owner you can participate in one of our wine courses (for wholesale customers at a reduced rate).
We also provide workshops, (shortened) courses and advice for catering companies, employment agencies, colleagues, etc. who are not "regular customers" of Barrel by appointment and at an hourly rate.
As a private individual or catering company, do you own a wine cellar or collection that you want to have valued for sale or auction? We can advise you and put you in touch with suitable partners, such as auction houses and collectors.
